About Us

Ryan is the owner of JNR Waterfront. He started the business over fifteen years ago and has grown significantly since then. He has a wife, Julie, and three children, Ellie, Gavin, and Laiken. Ryan grew up right here in Newaygo, on Hess Lake. Outside of work, he loves to hunt, fish, and be outdoors!

Amanda is our Office Manager here at JNR and has been with us since 2018. She will greet you at the front desk, answer your phone call, and handle everything in between. Amanda has a husband, Corey Jr, and 2 kids, Corey III and Sophie. In her free time, she enjoys running, camping, and traveling with her family.

Chris is our go-to guy! He has worked with us since 2013. He does a little bit of everything around here! Chris has a wife, Alicia, and two daughters, Rosemary and Lucille. He enjoys golfing, hunting, and fishing in his spare time.

Nate has been with us since 2019 and is now our lead barge operator. Nate has a longtime girlfriend, Emily, and has 5 children. He enjoys being outside, hunting, and playing sports with his kids.

Cody is our new sales lead here at JNR. Though he is new to our crew, he has worked in this industry for 15 years! He has a wife, Abby, twin boys, Lawson and Otto, and another on the way! Outside of work, he enjoys taking road trips with his family, boating, landscaping, fishing and being outdoors. 

Cory has been with JNR since 2019. He is always there to give a helping hand. Cory enjoys exercising, hunting, and playing video games in his free time.

Cam joined the JNR crew in 2022.  You'll find him out on the water helping with installs/removals. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and going to Silver Lake.

Carter and Blake joined our dock crew in 2025. They show up with positive attitudes ready to work, and love to crack jokes along the way. Carter likes to fish, ride dirt bikes and hang out with friends and family in his free time. 

Blake enjoys hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes, cooking, and hanging out with friends and family outside of work.
